Firstly, it features the FC-705 Swiss automatic movement, which has a good reputation. At FC, “affordable luxury” is not just an overused phrase; Anti-reflective sapphire, 42mm stainless steel case and date indicator sub-dial at 6 o’clock are what you get with this watch. But to be honest, most of my visitors – and maybe you as well – just want to get the looks of a vintage moonphase watch, but not actually pay the price that comes with a more expensive timepiece. For these people, this Peugeot moonphase watch is a perfect choice.

Instead of actual moon phases, the watch indicates AM/PM and features Japanese quartz movement. It comes with a 14K gold plated case and leather band. This Orient moonphase watches from the Sun and Moon Collection come with a classic design and high functionality. What I really like about this collection overall is the dials of the watches. Whether you opt for version 2, 3 or the “Open Heart” watch, you won’t be disappointed with how great it feels and how it steals the show with simply the looks.

The case diameter of these watches are 42.5mm, which is not small to say the least. But don’t worry, they fit most wrists gorgeously! Additionally, all these watches come with stylish leather straps that definitely feel and look good.

Graf Zeppelin Moonphase Watch – Zeppelin 7036

The Zeppelin 7036 moonphase watch is elegant and very well-sized with a fair price point and a lovely moonphase indicator. Is it just what you’re looking for? Then look no further! This timepiece is exquisite and some say it “looks better than a $3,000 Baume and Mercier!”

We wouldn’t dare to declare such a statement, but these Zeppelin moonphase watches are indeed quality watches with a sharp-looking retro-styled design, Hesalite crystal, and Japanese quartz movement. In addition, they feature 3 sub-dials: Day of the week, date and a moonphase sub-dial at 6 o’clock. If you like the looks, then we urge you to shortlist this watch as its quality will definitely not fail you!

Omega Moonphase Watch – Omega Speedmaster

Being one of the expensive ones, this Omega moonphase watch will not leave you unsatisfied – but what can you expect for around ten thousand dollars? Well, first and foremost quality. On a technical note, this moonphase watch features a Swiss automatic movement also known as “Caliber Omega 9904”. It also features scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal, a soft leather strap and a gorgeous blue dial with 3 sub-dials. Akribos Tourbillion Moonphase Watch – Akribos AK493

Self-winding mechanical movement with amazing fit and finish. This is the Akribos tourbillon moonphase watch, but before we dive deep into technical details, let’s talk about this timepiece in general. Firstly, it is a heavy watch – in a good way – so you can definitely feel how solid it is. Long story short, get ready for some serious arm training if you decide to buy this tourbillon moonphase watch.

Personally I am not fond of this leather strap. Not in terms of quality, but in terms of colour. It is very subjective, but consider picking up a replacement strap supposing you buy this timepiece. The dial is well-designed and features 2 sub-dials. The watch arrives in a stunning gift box, and Akribos offers 2 years of warranty and provides money-back satisfaction guarantee.

  • Tourbillon mechanical movement
  • Dual-time sub-dials
  • Beautiful gift box
  • Good value for the price

Citizen Moonphase Watch – Citizen AV3006-50H

Citizen is famous for being fueled by light (this is what they call Eco-Drive), so that it never requires a battery change. Apart from being a solar-powered timepiece, this Citizen moonphase watch is just absolutely fantastic in terms of beauty. For some, the dial might seem a bit busy, but the 4 sub-dials work great with the silver bezel.

Additionally, this watch features a date window, Japanese quartz movement, and anti-reflective sapphire glass crystal. My personal opinion on this Citizen moonphase watch is that its biggest advantage is versatility. You can rock this watch with casual clothes, but when the time comes, it can work with a tuxedo as well.

  • Eco-Drive
  • Detailed dial with 4 sub-dials
  • Sapphire Crystal
  • Versatility

Guess Moonphase Watch – Guess U0869G1

One of the most recognized brands in the world. A clean, simple and stylish timepiece. The Guess moonphase watch has an edge over its competitors with its sleek design and all-black look that is so desired nowadays. But what can a watch like this offer when it comes to features and functionality?

It features 3 sub-dials; day, date and moonphase. Additionally, it has Japanese quartz movement, durable mineral crystal, and polished black ionic plated stainless steel case. What I like about this watch is the metal mesh bands – the watch is very comfortable to wear, you can even forget that it’s on your wrist. Overall a great moonphase watch for a reasonable price.

  • Japanese Quartz Movement
  • Real Diamond Dial
  • Water-resistant to 50 meters
  • Durable mineral crystal
