Komono watches review

Komono, the word means “small things”, but in fact, the founders of the company, Anton Janssens, and Raf Maes designed big things. With Komono watches, they influence the global fashion trends, but in reality, it is their passion to craft and invent. We are going to put the Komono Watches to the test, and decide whether they are worth buying or not. In this Komono watches review, we provide an honest and independent guide to these timepieces.

KOMONO KOM-W2253 Winston Regal –...
Japanese Quartz Movement
KOMONO Unisex KOM-W2352 Winston Royale...
Japanese Quartz Movement, Stainless Steel Back

As much as Komono’s watches are much alike, everyone can easily find the perfect piece matching his taste, style, and wardrobe. The watches differ in color, strap material and pattern, therefore the wide variety of designs make it difficult to pick just one out of dozens. The minimalist, clean and simple design is what makes this brand one of the bests in its category. The sophisticated and elegant face is something to impress with.

“The perfect blend of Vision and Timing.”

Komono offers enough options when it comes to strap materials. Customers can choose between leather, canvas and metal mesh straps. Overall, every watch designed by Komono is comfortable to wear regardless of the strap material.

Furthermore, Komono watches complement casual outfits just as much as elegant suits. In fact, they suit almost every occasion and fits well with most clothes.

Komono Watches Review

First of all, let us say that we were skeptical at first of the brand. We didn’t think the quality would be decent, but in fact, it is quite good. We’ve used these watches for around 4 months, wore it on a daily basis, and there’s only one problem with them: the strap quality. Otherwise, the Komono definitely outperforms their price point in matters of style.

Our favourite Komono watches

Komono Winston Regal

Making a great first impression is important, and Komono must be aware of that too, because the first time we’ve come across the Winston Regal, we were astonished. This watch is the mixture of modern and minimalism.  Oh, almost forgot: this is our favorite too.

  • Japanese Quartz Movement
  • Stainless Steel Back
  • Brushed Metal Case
  • Case Water Resistant 3atm
  • Diameter 41mm
  • Genuine leather Wristband

Komono Magnus

A bigger-sized watch for bigger wrists. Personally, it was too big on my wrist, but my colleague liked it a lot and he didn’t have such problems with the size. Off-beat crown, massive metal case, this is Komono Magnus ladies and gentlemen.

  • Japanese Quartz Movement
  • Stainless Steel Back
  • Brushed or Matte Black Metal Case
  • One Piece Genuine Leather Wristband
  • Case Water Resistant 3atm Diameter 46mm

Komono Winston Royale

A very light, but durable watch. And when we say durable, we mean the strap. Yes, Winston Royale’s strap is quite good hence the metal material. Either way, it is charming and fashionable and doesn’t look “cheap” at all.

The Komono watches look absolutely beautiful on pictures, and even better in person. The design is something to admire, it is modern, simple, clean and sleek at the same time. You can fall in love with it in a matter of seconds. The quality is overall good, but the leather straps might give up after a few months. No worries though, because it’s really easy to replace that.

The price is attractive, and the Komono watches definitely worth their price. Even though they are not as durable as a watch with a price tag around 1000$, and are quite light, they serve the purpose perfectly. Also, there are always a few discounts on certain types of Komono watches, so keep an eye on them and take action when there’s a good deal available!
